We are pleased to announce our continued support for the Oracle DRM Special Interest Group (SIG).

Oracle is hosting the event and Seismi will be presenting a customer use case. The De Beers Group of Companies is in the process of implementing Oracle DRM and FDM to optimise the relationship between their extensive collection of general ledgers and their consolidation tool, HFM. They will be sharing their story to date, outlining their use case, their solution and the benefits they are expecting the solution to bring. They will also highlight any pitfalls and lessons learnt from their project.

DRM and DRG 11.1.2.4 update - Batch load from file to requests

Good news. In our first post about Oracle Data Relationship Management and Oracle Data Relationship Governance 11.1.2.4, we mentioned that the new feature that enables users to load request items from a file was not available from the batch client. After publication Oracle contacted us to inform us that it was possible. The parameters allowing us to do so had only been omitted in the user guide.

After this update we obviously had to give it a try! It runs exactly as we hoped. This functionality now allows us to configure an integration that will generate new requests if an upstream system. There are many cases in which this functionality can make your master data processes more robust and intuitive!
