Situation
Mandeep Hansra, Head Finance Solution Design and Architecture – FiRST, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, outlined the situation before the Hyperion DRM Health Check was conducted:
“RBS has been in the process of implementing Hyperion DRM for a number of years. We are keen to maximise our investment in the technology and to conform to best practice.
We asked Seismi to evaluate our current approach and to document the relationships and key data entities which interacted with our Hyperion DRM instances. We needed to understand all data sources and downstream systems to identify key risks, issues or enhancements. We asked them to categorise the proposed enhancements into those that can be implemented quickly to improve the current implementation of Hyperion DRM and those that should be included in a longer term strategic solution”
